• The highlight: Hands-on involvement in store design projects from concept through to construction handover, across new stores, refurbishments and flagship locations

The Opportunity

This role sits at the heart of how the brand shows up in the physical world. You'll be hands-on in the design and delivery of retail store projects across Australia and New Zealand, balancing creative ambition with commercial reality and project discipline. You'll work closely with some of Australia's most admired architects and interior designers, as well as consultants, contractors and landlords, alongside internal teams across Property, Store Development, Store Experience, Retail, Visual Merchandising, Creative, Services and Operations. It's a role for someone who loves the full arc of a project, from the first concept sketch to the moment the doors open, and who enjoys getting into the detail of design, documentation and delivery in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

What You'll Own

• Working on store design projects from early concept and planning through to design documentation and construction handover
• Developing design solutions that balance brand vision, customer experience and commercial objectives
• Preparing and managing project timelines, documentation, approvals and design compliance requirements
• Liaising closely with architects, consultants, contractors, landlords and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Presenting design concepts, participating in feedback sessions, and refining solutions based on stakeholder input
• Working through project risks and design challenges, and helping keep milestones on track across multiple concurrent projects
• Sharing design expertise and technical know-how with internal teams and external design partners as a senior peer
• Contributing to the delivery of the broader store growth strategy across Australia and New Zealand

What You'll Bring

• Retail design experience within large-scale retail environments
• Experience with project scheduling, programming and delivery on retail design projects
• A proven track record delivering large-scale retail projects (approximately 2,000sqm+) on time and within budget
• A confident communication style that builds credibility with internal and external stakeholders alike
• The composure to manage challenging conversations and hold your ground on design decisions when it matters
• Commercial instincts, with a clear understanding of how design shapes customer experience and business performance
• A level head under pressure, with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and project issues at once

Bonus Points

• Revit experience
• AutoCAD and advanced rendering capabilities
• Experience working across major retail networks and multi-site rollouts
• Background with a major retailer, large-format retail business, or a retail-focused architecture or design consultancy
