Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will represent the business across New South Wales, warming up a small base of existing relationships and building the territory properly from the ground up. You will have genuine say over how the market is developed, which designers and architects you pursue, and how the brand shows up locally. For someone who has sold well inside a national structure and now wants their own patch, the timing is right.

This is a founder-led Australian furniture and design business that has become one of the most sought after names in the country in a short space of time, known for an inventory that pairs timeless antique pieces with contemporary and bespoke collections. The team is small, entrepreneurial and genuinely detail-obsessed, with everyone bringing their own point of view. Bespoke pieces are produced with local and global craftspeople under a sustainable and ethical practice. In New South Wales, you would be the face of that story.

 

What You'll Own

 

– Leading business development across New South Wales, accountable for state sales volume and profitability

– Building a structured call cycle across interior designers, architects, property developers and private clients

– Growing the existing client base while opening new accounts through prospecting, referrals and networking

– Reactivating lapsed relationships and reintroducing the brand as a premium design partner

– Running consultative conversations that speak to both aesthetics and the practical realities of a project

– Partnering with the Head of Sales on territory strategy, targets and how the state is approached

– Identifying opportunities across luxury residential, commercial and hospitality projects

– Coordinating internally across design consultation, logistics and operations to deliver for clients

– Negotiating pricing and project terms within brand guidelines

– Reporting weekly on pipeline, conversion and what you are seeing in the market

 

Who Thrives Here

 

– Five or more years in business development or account management, ideally in furniture, interiors, luxury goods or another premium category

– An established network across the New South Wales design and architecture community, or the drive to build one quickly

– A real appreciation for design, and the ability to articulate why a piece is worth what it costs

– Comfortable with a blank page. This territory rewards someone who creates their own structure and momentum

– Commercially sharp, able to read your own numbers and act on them

– Disciplined with CRM and clear in writing

– Driver's licence and happy to travel across the state
