Your Next Chapter 

This is a rare chance to become the operational backbone for a growing denim business with a boutique network expanding fast across Australia. Reporting to the Head of Retail, you will take ownership of store operations, systems and inventory across a multi brand portfolio, working closely with senior leadership and shaping decisions rather than just carrying them out. As the network moves into its next growth phase, you would be one of the first people building the processes that support it long term.

You would be joining an established Australian denim house with a global footprint, distributing across Australia, New Zealand, the US and Europe. The culture is creative, hands on and genuinely proud of its heritage in denim. You will work alongside a small, connected head office team who care about getting the detail right, and you would be part of shaping how a fast growing retail network runs day to day. 

What You’ll Own 

• Leading day to day retail operations across a boutique network spanning VIC and NSW 
• Managing system administration, POS troubleshooting and retail software integrations across all store formats 
• Partnering with store managers and teams to provide daily operational guidance 
• Driving inventory control, stocktakes and stock transfers across the network 
• Overseeing store maintenance, vendor contracts and facility management within budget 
• Auditing and evolving retail policies, procedures and training materials to support scaling 
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety, cash handling and operational standards 
• Coordinating operational setup for new store openings, pop ups and refits 
• Tracking operational expenses and identifying cost saving opportunities 

Who Thrives Here 

• Comes from an operations background, not a pure store management or customer service background 
• If you are a store manager, this suits someone from a large format, high volume environment (think Rebel, H&M, Big W) who is already operational in how they work, rather than a boutique or single site manager 
• 3+ years in retail operations, large format store management or multi site coordination, ideally within apparel or lifestyle fashion 
• Confident using retail POS and inventory management systems 
• Sharp numerical and inventory literacy, with strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis 
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to guide store teams from head office 
• Comfortable travelling across VIC and NSW store networks 
• A detail obsessed, adaptable approach and genuine interest in retail and denim culture
