Head of People & Culture 

Your Next Chapter 

This is a rare chance to lead the People and Culture function for a well established Australian beauty and skincare business during a strong period of growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, with a direct line to the founders, you will take full ownership of the People and Culture remit, from strategy through to employee relations, leadership development and compliance. You will shape how the business grows, not sit on the sidelines of it. This role suits a senior HR leader ready to build a function their way, backed by genuine support from the top.

What You'll Own 

• Leading the People and Culture strategy across HQ and Store teams 
• Partnering with the CEO and executive team on workforce planning and organisational design 
• Driving leadership capability programs and coaching senior leaders 
• Overseeing talent acquisition, employer brand and onboarding across the business 
• Managing employee relations, workplace investigations and conflict resolution 
• Leading the annual remuneration review and benchmarking process 
• Building succession plans and internal talent pipelines 
• Ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards 
• Leading and developing the People and Culture team 

Who Thrives Here 

• Significant experience in a senior People and Culture or HR leadership role 
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards 
• Proven experience leading and developing a People and Culture team 
• Confidence advising a CEO and executive team on complex people matters 
• A hands on approach and comfort working in a fast moving, founder led environment 
• Sound judgement, discretion and the ability to manage sensitive matters with care 
• Experience in retail, fashion, beauty or lifestyle businesses is highly regarded
