Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full finance function, including financial reporting, payroll, AP/AR and reconciliations
• Own month-end and year-end processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare BAS, compliance reporting, and statutory requirements
• Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and cashflow planning
• Develop clear, forward-looking financial reporting (including P&L and performance insights)
• Partner closely with the Founder on strategic decision-making
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and financial controls
• Work across key platforms including Xero, Shopify and Cin7

The Ideal Candidate

You are a qualified Accountant (CA or CPA) who enjoys operating in a hands-on, growing business environment where you can take ownership and build.

You bring both technical strength and commercial thinking — with the confidence to partner with leadership and guide decisions, not just report on them.

• CA or CPA qualified (essential)
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant role
• Strong end-to-end finance capability across reporting, compliance, and operations
• Experience in retail, eCommerce, or product-based businesses highly regarded
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems capability (Xero experience preferred)
• Comfortable working in a founder-led, evolving environment
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
