What You Will Be Working On

Responsibilities include researching global fashion trends and translating them into commercially viable designs that align with our brand’s distinctive DNA of understated ease. The role involves creating detailed tech packs that specify measurements, construction details, and fabric specifications, ensuring design vision translates seamlessly to production. Close collaboration with the Product Technician ensures quality standards and legal compliance throughout development.

Beyond design, candidates will build relationships with offshore manufacturers, negotiating timelines and costs while managing development schedules to meet critical deadlines. Market research and competitor analysis become essential tools for ensuring products maintain their unique market position. Range presentations will be delivered to cross-functional teams, clearly communicating seasonal concepts while incorporating valuable feedback to strengthen collections.

The ideal candidate combines emerging design talent with practical commercial awareness. They understand that successful fashion design balances creative vision with market demands, and embrace the challenge of creating collections that resonate both aesthetically and commercially.

• 2 years’ experience in fashion product design or related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design software
• Strong communication skills for conveying design concepts effectively
• Understanding of garment construction, pattern development, and technical specifications
• Natural ability to balance creativity with commercial viability
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting seasonal deadlines
• Passion for women’s fashion and understanding of contemporary styling
