As our clients IT Administrator & Applications Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the core technology systems that connect head office with their retail network. This position offers the opportunity to take technical ownership of business-critical platforms, including Apparel21, while driving system improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
Your first year will include:
– Managing and optimising the Apparel21 environment, from system configuration to performance enhancement
– Creating analytical reports and technical solutions that address specific business requirements
– Implementing system improvements that enhance retail operations

What You Will Be Working On
Your primary focus will be maintaining system reliability while identifying and implementing improvements. Key responsibilities include:
– Managing Apparel21 system administration, including security, database maintenance, and user access
– Developing and maintaining SQL reports to support business analysis
– Providing swift, effective problem resolution to minimise operational disruption
– Creating comprehensive technical documentation and user guides
– Planning and executing system upgrades across the network
– Delivering technical support to head office and retail teams
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
We are seeking a technical professional with strong analytical abilities and a systematic approach to problem-solving. Required qualifications include:
– 3-5 years’ experience in retail systems support, with particular emphasis on Apparel21 or similar ERP platforms
– Demonstrated diagnostic and problem-resolution capabilities
– Professional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively
– Proficiency in SQL query writing and custom report development
– Understanding of retail operations and fundamental accounting principles
– Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
